Final Blog Post

I can’t believe it’s been 19 weeks since Elle was born (she turned 19 weeks old two days ago)! I never thought it would take this long to finally sit down to write her birth story and final blog post, but we have been a busy little family of four!

Our daughter is 4.5 months old now and we have been able to enjoy so many experiences with her already! She is a great sleeper (11 hours straight at night!) and she’s already on a four hour nursing schedule. She is starting to have many new first time experiences (like using an exersaucer for the first time) and she is great at tummy time and grabbing toys, she never sneezes only once, she loves to laugh, and she will always smile when you make eye contact with her. She has been a joy to love every day!

Elle’s delivery was quick and easy. We checked into the hospital On October 29, 2012, around 11am and she blessed our lives when she arrived at 5:36pm. She started sleeping through the night early on, and nursing has been much easier this time around. I’m sure being parents for the second time helps, but either way, we are so thankful God has entrusted Elle Marie Rupprecht to us to raise for His kingdom.

We pray for Elle’s faith and future and health. We pray that she may come to know the unconditional love of Jesus through the unconditional love we give her. Elle has blessed our lives more richly than we could ever imagine. She makes our family complete.

The Bible says. “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward…” (Psalm 127:3). Phil and I truly know how much Elle has enriched our lives and we are thrilled to be part of her life on earth (and eternity in Heaven). We pray that we can fulfill God’s teaching to “train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6) Thank you, Lord, for allowing us to share this journey with our daughter, Elle Marie Rupprecht.

God bless.
